Through some sense of hivemind, my friend Deborah and I both shaved our heads (in my case, again) today, and we both got (at least at some point) mohawks.

I'm letting this fucker grow in.

Also, my hair is slowly falling out. It's about time... But it might compromise the mohawk.

I started Well-Fit today. I had an initial assessment, which included a 15 or 20 minute stress test on a stationary bike. Fancy equipment they had there, they did... To be on something that actually recreated a cycling experience was just amazing. I missed it...

I start going to Well-Fit "classes" on Wednesday. After that, it's twelve weeks, twice a week. Monday and Wednesday on my good weeks, Monday and Friday on chemo weeks.

I'm not going to feel crappy again, when I don't have to. This time, cancer fucked with the wrong guy.

Working out sounds like a great idea... I wish I could make myself do it. Ben is growing even though he doesn't get alcohol.

WTG Armand. Working out FTW! I can say that working out is a great way to feel better. Now if only I could wake up in enough time to get to the damn gym...

Finally! okay that's not fair, but it was excruciating to read your posts, knowing that you had to find a way to come to terms with the horrible situation you are in. Cancer is overwhelmingly negative but that doesn't mean you have to be!

As you say, you have cancer, you're not cancer! Now you have to believe that and live your life like that too!

Deltcho: Yeah, Arthur's turning into a hefty lad... It's really not good...

Nick: You're a pretty busy guy... You get some exercise at work, at least, though... I mostly get my workout walking from my car to my desk. Not conducive to sexy abs.

Tori: Oh, you know, hypomania to the rescue ;)

Corrine: I'm nowhere out of the woods yet, and hell knows what or how long it'll take before I'll be doing "well"... But at least I think I've found enough outlets for now to keep me from doing stupid things...

Deborah: Thank you, thank you... And I still say you looked great with the mohawk... Had that "kicking ass and taking names" thing going :p See? Fighting spirit... Mohawks... I wholeheartedly encourage you to grow one after you're done chemo, haha..

Kathy: Thank you. I am cancerboy, hear me roar!
